My inspirations from flipping through recipes and tinkering with the ingredients in my pantry

Happy Halloween!

I bought a cupcake stand for $1 at the Dollar store, and since it’s a Halloween inspired stand, I simply had to make some cupcakes to go with it.

I used my favourite cupcake recipe to date, which has sour cream in it, which makes the cupcakes so moist and fluffy. Then I topped them with some vanilla frosting that comes in a tub (way too sweet for my liking). Anyway, I won’t be the one finishing the cupcakes =P. Then, I drew some chocolate circles on the frosting, and used a toothpick to achieve the “spiderweb” effect.

My first attempt at playing around with frosting – tiring but fun!
